Inspired by the great Steven Soderbergh, I began compiling chronological lists of every movie, television show, and book I've consumed since 2021. Then, as an excuse to talk about the movies we love, my friend and I began recording year-in-review movie podcasts leading up to the Oscars. And before I was a pod host I wrote blog posts where I shared my thoughts on the themes, performances and movies that defined each year.
